Terms of Service
Effective September 27, 2026
These terms govern your use of Race Data Tracker.
Please read these terms
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using RDT, you agree to these Terms. If you use RDT for a team or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept them on its behalf.
1. Accounts & Team Access
Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. Each person should use an individual account; do not share credentials between team members or devices. Team owners and authorized managers control invitations, roles, permissions and access to team data. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
2. Service Purpose
RDT helps race teams record, organize, compare and share setup, tire, component, geometry, weather, session and race-week information across supported devices. Features may vary by platform, plan, device capability or release version. RDT is a recordkeeping and analysis tool, not a substitute for qualified mechanical or engineering judgment.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
Paid plans may include feature, module and active-car limits. Prices, billing periods and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Web purchases may be billed through Stripe; Android and iOS purchases may be managed by Google Play or Apple. Taxes and payment-provider terms may apply.
4. Cancellation, Refunds & Plan Changes
Cancel through the provider that billed the subscription. Cancellation stops future renewal but normally leaves access active through the paid period. Upgrades, downgrades, proration and refunds follow the terms shown at checkout and the applicable billing provider. Refunds are not guaranteed except when required by law or provider policy.
5. Racing Safety
Motorsports and vehicle setup involve risk. Always verify measurements, fasteners, clearances, component condition, calculations and setup changes before operating a vehicle. Do not rely on RDT as the only basis for a safety-critical decision. You accept responsibility for vehicle preparation, track compliance, race results, property damage and personal safety.
6. Data, Sync & Your Content
You retain ownership of data, notes, photos and other content you enter. You grant RDT permission to store, process, synchronize and display that content only as needed to operate and support the service. Some features require internet access. Verify important data, sync status and exports before relying on another device. If data appears missing, do not uninstall RDT or clear app data; contact Support first.
7. Acceptable Use & Third-Party Services
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security or synchronization, upload unlawful or harmful content, reverse engineer protected portions, or use RDT to violate another person’s rights. RDT may depend on device platforms, app stores, authentication, cloud hosting, mapping, weather, payment or other third-party services governed by their own terms.
8. Intellectual Property & Service Changes
RDT software, branding, designs, documentation and original content are owned by RDT or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. We may improve, add, remove or modify features while working to preserve customer data and compatibility.
9. Warranty Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RDT is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free calculations, perfect synchronization, permanent availability of third-party services or suitability for a particular racing purpose. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RDT and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost race opportunities, vehicle damage, injury or loss caused by reliance on entered data or calculated results. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited as allowed by applicable law.
11. Suspension, Deletion & Privacy
We may suspend access for fraud, nonpayment, security threats or serious violations of these Terms. Subscription expiration does not itself authorize deletion of your stored race data. You may request account deletion through the Delete Account page. Collection and handling of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes, Governing Law & Contact
We may update these Terms and will post a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. These Terms are governed by Connecticut law, except where mandatory local consumer law applies. Questions about these Terms should be sent through the Contact Support page.
